Ingredients:

  • Red Layer:
    • 1 oz grenadine
  • White Layer:
    • 1 oz vodka (chilled)
    • 1 oz coconut rum (chilled)
  • Blue Layer:
    • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • Other:
    • Ice cubes
    • Tall, clear glass
    • Spoon (optional, for layering)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass:
    • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. The ice helps slow down the pouring process, which is essential for creating distinct layers.
  2. Red Layer:
    • Pour 1 oz of grenadine slowly over the ice, allowing it to settle at the bottom of the glass.
  3. White Layer:
    • In a shaker, combine the chilled vodka and coconut rum. Stir gently to mix.
    • Slowly pour the mixture over the back of a spoon (held just above the grenadine layer) or directly over the ice to create the white layer.
  4. Blue Layer:
    • Slowly pour 1 oz of blue curaçao over the back of a spoon (held just above the white layer) or directly over the ice to create the blue layer.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the drink immediately to preserve the distinct layers.

This visually stunning cocktail is perfect for patriotic celebrations or any event where you want to impress your guests with a beautiful and tasty drink!
