Griddled Banana Bread Slices

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2-4 slices of banana bread (preferably with miso and buttermilk)

Instructions:

  1. In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add 2 to 4 slices of banana bread to the skillet.
  3. Cook until the first side is golden brown, for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Carefully flip the bread using a spatula.
  5. Continue to cook until the second side is also golden brown, for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Remove the banana bread slices from the skillet and place them on a plate.
  7. Sprinkle with flake sea salt, if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
